Andy Nix, Territory Sales Manager, Trouw Nutrition

Andy Nix joined Trouw Nutrition in May 2021 as a Territory Sales Manager. In this role, Nix will support key accounts within the Southeast region, while identifying operational efficiencies to benefit both Trouw Nutrition and its customers. Exercising her extensive nutrition knowledge, Nix will support product development and will assist with market research and product analysis.

Nix began her nutrition-focused career in 2016 as an Inside Sales Coordinator at Deerland Probiotics & Enzymes, a company focused on providing products, services and technology to the human nutrition market. Nix is committed to delivering measurable results for every employer she serves. At her first job, she generated $1 million in inside sales within her first six months while managing more than 20 accounts in the Midwest and West Coast regions.

Then Nix transitioned to Business Development Manager for Azelis Food & Health, a leading specialty chemicals and food ingredients distributor in North America. Now serving the Midwest and Southeast regions, Nix secured six new accounts in her first month and increased sales by 20% within her first three months.

Her notable success earned her the role of Account Manager at a global manufacturer of specialty ingredients for the nutrition, health and food markets. In this business development role for the Southwest Region, Nix managed contract manufacturing and oversaw ingredient sales.

Next, Nix joined the Enzymology Research Center as National Business Development Manager. She grew the business by 20% within her first five months and reduced costs by 10% by identifying and securing new suppliers. As manager of the company’s social media channels, she communicated company news while growing the corporate brand.

Throughout her illustrious career, Nix frequented many industry trade shows to further her knowledge of growing trends and to network with key industry contacts.

Nix earned her Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition from the University of Alabama.
