Neosho, MO Team Achieves Eleven Years Without a Lost Workday

29 June 2020

Neosho setting a record of eleven years is something to be proud of, and it could not have happened without the focus and safety first environment that Trouw Nutrition holds.
Through management commitment, employee engagement, worksite hazard analysis, prevention, and training, Trouw Nutrition's Team in Neosho, Missouri, has achieved eleven years without a lost workday. The term "lost workday" refers to the cases involving workdays missed due to accident or injury.

"Our safety record is a reflection of our team's focus and dedication to our safety program," said Doug Vanjoff, Neosho Plant Manager.

At Trouw Nutrition, safety is a core focus, and our workers make it the top priority in every situation. "Very few teams meet this outstanding performance for such a long period," said Andy Fischer, Director of Operations. "Like all great teams, it's not about the milestone of hitting eleven years but getting everyone home safely to their families each day."

Mike Hooper, General Manager, Companion Animal Division, said, "Safety doesn't happen by accident. Keeping our people safe at work is the most important job each of us has every day. Neosho setting a record of eleven years is something to be proud of, and it could not have happened without the focus and safety-first environment that Trouw Nutrition holds."

Congratulations to the great team at Neosho on this fantastic achievement!
