Trouw Nutrition Donates Body Armor to Local K9

5 August 2019

Happy, who will receive the body armor donated by Trouw Nutrition, partners with 2nd Shift Deputy Craig Wells.

With a Mission of giving pets a healthier, happier life, Trouw Nutrition's Companion Animal Division is proud to support a local K9 with body armor.

Trouw Nutrition partnered with Vested Interest in K9s Inc., a national nonprofit charity in East Taunton, MA, dedicated to providing bullet and stab-protective vests to law enforcement dogs throughout the United States.

Happy, a K9 member of the Madison County Sherriff's Office, will receive the body armor, valued near $1,000. The vest will display the phrase, "Honoring those who served and sacrificed."
