Terri Boeser, General Manager of Trouw Nutrition’s U.S. Companion Animal Division, oversees all U.S. operations for the division toward developing new, innovative products and services, providing industry-leading pet food manufacturers with unmatched customer service and a true partner in animal nutrition.
As head of the U.S. Companion Animal Leadership Team, Boeser sets the division’s strategy and long-term goals, as well as promotes team unity and individual professional development toward cross-functional collaboration to further Trouw Nutrition’s success.
Boeser joined Trouw Nutrition in 2007 as a Business Accountant, assisting with forecasting, budgeting, taxes and capital expenditures. Four years later, Boeser was promoted to Business Analyst, a role she held for two years, and in which she significantly improved the company’s budgeting process and developed sales and key performance indicator (KPI) reports to aid the leadership team in making strategic decisions.
In 2013, Boeser took on new responsibilities as the company’s Controller and as the newest member of the leadership team. In this capacity, she successfully oversaw the launch of a companywide enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and led a team of 24 employees tasked with accounting, tax, risk management, treasury and IT responsibilities.
While continuing in her role as Controller, Boeser served as both Interim General Manager and Director of Operations, strengthening her leadership skills and broadening her understanding of the supply chain process. Most recently, Boeser held the position of Strategic Project Director in which she led cross-functional teams in the pursuit of a diverse range of key corporate development projects. She assisted with the launch of Trouw Nutrition’s global Women in Leadership initiative and served on the company’s global Specie Council.
Before joining Trouw, Boeser worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers spending six weeks in Louisiana on Hurricane Katrina efforts.
Boeser earned both her Master of Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Saint Louis University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
